Hyundai Wia Website design

Hyundai WIA Machine America was looking to do a complete website redesign. Some requirements for the website were:

• A Machine Tool Locator
• Ability to have a multilingual site. English, Spanish and Portuguese languages.
• Ability to edit all pages

Hyundai Wia brings a lineup of more than 100 different high-quality CNC machines to the manufacturing market in the Americas. They have a product offering that spans a wide range of technology. Their large product offering was the most complex aspect of the website. How do we build a Machine Tool Locator that would be engaging and guide people through the diverse specifications of each product? The result was "The Machine Tool Matrix". Visitors were able to browse the products through an interactive search experience that was both user friendly and informative.

As the only designer on our team I was involved in the design process from beginning to finish. My role included:

• Gathering specifications
• Creating wireframes
• Visual design that maintained their branding standards
• Teaching the customer how to edit their website with our CMS
